Environmental Protection
At River Tees Port Health Authority we are committed to protecting the environment for the people who work and live around the port area. This includes issuing permits for high risk processes, monitoring and responding to complaints about noise, dust and other effluvia from port activities.
The Authority has permitting responsibility for 3 Part B processes within its jurisdiction;
