Teesside International Airport

Here at River Tees Port Health Authority, we have been contracted by Darlington Borough Council to provide a Port Health Service for the airport.

If you have any questions or queries with regards to importing food and feed through the airport, please call us on 01287 612406 or email us at port.health@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk.

All the information provided on our website applies to any imports at the airport, including fees and charges, however please ensure you check whether the airport is approved for your import, or contact us and we can provide advice.

Teesside International Airport (TIA) is currently approved for Green Beans from Kenya from the High Risk Food Not of Animal Origin list.

Any foods not under official controls are also allowed to enter through TIA.
